Selling people on meetings can be a tricky concept, particularly in a workplace where there are multiple competing demands on your time. However, they’re an essential business tool that, when used effectively, can truly motivate a company and help drive better productivity among staff.

So an effective corporate meeting presents a number of different benefits and opportunities for an organisation. At a basic level, they’re a useful way to keep all of your employees and stakeholders in the loop on current developments within the business at a very basic level. You can outline issues such as new policies and undertake housekeeping such as new hires, departures, upcoming events and much more.

Although it’s simple enough to do all of this via email or intranet announcements, they rarely have the same impact; emails can be missed, and there’s no guarantee that everyone is looking at internal messaging relays. Doing it in the meeting format helps reinforce the importance of the information being communicated.

But perhaps most importantly, they’re a way to help realign your business and ensure that everyone is working towards a common goal. Using Huddlepoint enables you to have more effective records and better communication and follow-up after the fact.

Part of optimising your business is optimising the way that you run meetings, and Huddlepoint can aid with this process.

When you’re using Huddlepoint, all of the notes taken by you and your team are centrally located and stored in one dashboard — there’s no longer a need to input multiple notes from multiple staff and no risk that they’ll end up split into different formats or programs.

As you’ve now got a central storage point for your meeting notes, you’re now also able to draw on them for future reference — at a glance, you’ll be able to see what needs to be followed up in future meetings and streamline future meeting planning. This will help better optimise your meeting process, which will have flow-on effects throughout the business.
